At Trek Removals and storage - We bring our storage directly to your door with our purpose built Furniture removal van. Our clean, dry storage units are fork lifted on to the furniture removal van , transported to your front door.
Once we have packed and prepared all household effects we load each storage container making an inventory of the contents of each container . This will make it easy should you wish to retrieve something from storage.
Once loaded the storage unit is securely sealed outside your residence making it impossible to open unless a new seal with a totally unique number is fitted.
On return to our storage facility your container is fork lifted from our removal van and placed in store where it will remain closed in a secure, dry environment.
On receiving your instruction to return your household storage the process is reversed. Your goods will be placed in the relevant rooms and furniture reassembled.
Unlike Self storage
- Our storage is cheaper with no hidden cost self storage will charge extra for locks, insurance and many other things beside.
- Handling of your furniture and personal effects is cut to a minimum reducing the chances of damage
- You are charged a daily rate with no minimum period
- Only the storage space used is charged for, effects can be separated into individual units allowing deliveries to be done to your time scale
- Your household goods are only handled by us reducing the chances of theft or damage when more then one party is involved - Containers are sealed in front of you with unique reference numbers so you can be confident your effects are safe and secure.
- Our Storage facility has a state of the art red care security system linked to the police & fire brigade & 24 hr CCTV.
