Moving Steps

Step 1 – Contact Trek by either using the contact form below or by calling our office on 0800 1389 242they will organise you a meeting with a move consultant.

Step 2 – A meeting with a move consultant: you will be able to show exactly what needs to be moved so we can get a clear understanding of your individual move, discuss the access, parking and amount of packaging material you will need. We will also discuss with you your individual move package.

Step 3 – Your move consultant will then email you your quote for your move, together with details of how your move would be performed on the day. Please read this carefully and ask any questions you may have.

Step 4 – Book your move day with our office, either by email or over the phone. We will send you a confirmation email with the date, time and name of the team leader who will be responsible for your move on the day.

Step 5 – Now that your move is planned with Trek you can feel comfortable, knowing we are on the case and you can also get active in making sure you are ready for your big day with our helpful CHECK LIST.

Step 6 – Our team will pitch up on your chosen day, help you move and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Trek Packing

Our packing team is highly qualified and efficient when it comes to packing and labelling every box, and is fully aware of safe lifting weights and techniques to lift boxes safely. So, why not sit back and let the professionals do it for you?

Our team will pitch up in good time and get straight to work. We use protective recyclable packaging, where possible, because we care about our environment.

Our standard insurance liability is offered free of charge on all of our packages. If you require something more, please discuss this with our moving consultants.

Platinum – Full Packing and Cleaning Service

This is the ultimate in stress free moving. You relax, drink coffee and leave everything in our very capable hands.

All boxes, bubble wrap, tape and packaging materials are included in the price.
Pack everything carefully and boxes, well labelled.
Dismantle all furniture and wrap it in protective packaging.
Unplug TV’s, washing machines and dishwashers.
Load and pack safely into removals vehicle.
Unload all belongings into new home
Unwrap and re-assemble all furniture
Plug in TV’s, washing machines and dishwashers.
Unpack all boxes and place carefully back in their original places
Cleaners clean old house with a STANDARD CLEAN

Gold – Full Packing Service

This is our package for clients moving into a brand new home, or who have cleaners to do their cleaning for them. You get the same great full packing and moving service just without the cleaning.

All boxes, bubble wrap, tape and packaging materials are included in the price.

Silver – Part Pack and Cleaning Service

Part Pack is for those who would like to pack most of their own belongings and need help with packing breakables like, china, art, fragile pieces or just awkward pieces. Please discuss what you will pack with your moving consultant so we can quote on what is to be packed professionally.

Include boxes, bubble wrap, tape and packaging materials for special packing.
Pack listed items carefully and boxes, well labelled.
Dismantle all furniture and wrap in protective packaging.
Unplug TV’s, washing machines and dishwashers.

Bronze – Part Pack Service

This service is the same as above but just without the cleaning service. Please discuss what you will pack with your moving consultant so we can quote on what is to be packed professionally

Pick Up & Move

This service is for the highly motivated and organised who would like to pack entirely themselves. We will arrive at your door and move all your belongings for you to your new home. You can buy boxes and packaging material here.

Storage

We offer container storage for household removals to Europe at our warehouse in Central London, which offers 24 hour security and highly secure storage solutions if you have time between old and new homes.

Packaging material is available to buy directly from us, if needed, and our consultant will discuss this with you at your meeting.
