How long has your company been going?

The company began as a family business in 1997 and we will soon celebrate our fifteenth anniversary – fifteen years of experience in moving people from home to home. If you would like to know more about our history, please look at our ABOUT page.

What are your removal men’s qualifications?

Our men follow a month’s training system, whereby they learn how to pack boxes, lift boxes safely, stack the boxes correctly and load the vehicles properly. After the first month they have to work alongside one of our senior men for a further 3 months. Only after we are totally satisfied with their performance, do they become a trusted member of the Trek family.

What insurance does the company have?

Trek Removals is a member of BAR (the British Association of Removers) and our insurance cover is in complete accordance with that industry standard, and is specified in our Terms and Conditions.  We will need you to give a declaration of the value of your goods, prior to moving, and should you need to increase the standard value of cover, we are happy to arrange this and advise you of any additional insurance costs.
