Welcome to Trek Removals

Hi, my name is Ian and, together with my family, I started Trek Removals some 15 years ago with an old Ford Transit Luton, named Lady Bird.  She was a beauty!  My father and I would drive around London helping people to move home.  My mother stayed home to answer the phone and arrange appointments.

Back then, we had no money for advertising and relied on recommendations by word of mouth. “Do a job properly and people will recommend you to their friends,” my father wisely said.

Fifteen years later, I can safely say that our success is down to this philosophy and we continue to hold true to it.  Although Trek Removals now has 10 full time staff, 6 vehicles, over 12 000 square foot of storage space, and moves clients both domestically and internationally, 85 % of our removals business still comes directly from recommendations made by satisfied clients to their friends.

My father still reminds every one of our staff before they leave the yard, “Do the job properly and people will recommend Trek to their friends.” He’s right because they always do.
